Some of the most beautiful chairs ever produced came out of China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in came from Scandinavia in more recent times. In this chair, I tried to convey a bit of the Chinese aesthetic with a Scandinavian bent on function.
